“Up front I will tell you that Bruce is a craftsman. There are those who demonstrate proficiency at what they do, and then there is the special person whose talents and personality sets them apart. Bruce belongs to that group. We’ve hired him for several projects, most notably the replacement of our pool deck. This was a complicated install. Besides the usual pool skimmers and a diving board, there were factors such as drainage slopes, wire grounding for anything metal, exposed plumbing plus anchors for the pool ladder. Bruce knew what to do and handled all of it. You’ll find that he’ll likely have design and install suggestions for you as the project moves forward; that was our experience and we took him up on them. I’ve referred him to many a friend and will continue to do so with no hesitation.” -

We had Bruce put in our driveway in 2005 and do not have any cracks or scaling. We had stained front steps with a chipped corner that Bruce repaired and coated with a special coating material that made them look like new.

“We consulted Bruce Nelson on our front walkway replacement. We had a standard plain and boring sidewalk to the front door of our house. He met with us to discuss what we needed and what we would like the front walkway to look like. He designed a curved concrete walkway and patio with steps to our driveway. He included brick faced planters built into the plan.
His eye for design and detail were above our expectations. He suggested the planters that turned out to be awesome. Bruce included so many details that we never would have thought of, including mitering the brick tops of the planters, custom metal liners and drainage in the planters. They tied in the new patio to our house perfectly. He even hand chipped the brick so they matched what was on our house. We have received many compliments on our patio and tell everyone who asks, that Bruce is the one who has ‘the eye’ for design and does quality work.” -
